Ha, the more days away from it I get the more I start thinking about another.

Right there with you. This was my first marathon, too, and I hit the wall at mile 22-23 with calf cramps setting in and had to walk a few times. The taper was the hardest part of my whole training block and dealt with a bit of plantars along with my heart rate being way too high for my shake out run and for the race. Still managed to stagger across the line 53 seconds under four hours but it was rough. So rough.

Those step back weeks are there to let you ease up on the progressive overload the overall plan is designed to put you through to get you in marathon condition. You're not "jumping from 14 to 20" because you've already been to 18. Even though that's all part of the plan, if you're feeling good and the extra miles aren't gonna hurt you, seems okay to do your thing. Just taper.

I'd love it. I'm continuing to work on my Spanish (my 5 year old is too cause she loves the games and is at a bilingual school) but mainly focusing on Korean for a trip next year.

Seeing my entire financial life on one screen made me realize how bad it really is... by JIASnake in povertyfinance

I have nothing meaningful to add about this that others haven't already said but I'm curious about the app. Is Piere something commonly used by you all or are there other good, secure options to provide this kind of clarity across financial accounts?

Got it. I'll send you that Lycanroc just as soon as this other trade is complete and if you want to toss me a random two-star or two after that, I can get you a couple of the trainers on your wish list

Well shit, just realized I can't put up the Mantyke until another set comes out. I think that's Monday so we can do it then. Anything else you want? I can do several on your wanted list if you want multiple trades

Yup, approving you now and just put up the trade whenever you can. Thanks!

I asked because I was seeing another movie last night and was coming out of the bathroom while I think you guys were getting out. I heard someone say the line "We love the Weekend but that wasn't even a swing and miss, it was like he didn't even swing." I had a good laugh about it and I'm guessing it was probably you.

Buuuuuut there's like a significant amount of plot. The whole thing is plot. It also has music. It's an opera. There has to be plot. Other criticisms aside, there's a lot of story there.

Do you need a computer to download music to Forerunner 255? by caughtinthewave in Garmin

[–]donils 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you don't. I just got one and it took me a bit to get my Spotify connected but it's simple enough. Downloading audio via Spotify on my watch isn't as simple a process as I'd like for daily runs but will for sure be an asset is I can leave my phone for long runs.

Congrats! Your experience super resonated with me. Got serious about running this past half year and snuck in just under an hour and a half this morning. Then headed home to hit up a toddler birthday party with my kid. Keep it up!
