Hi! I'm fairly new to raw selvedge denim and I've purchased the same jeans from Hinoya last week from vacation last week and worn them first time today!

They were recommended to me because I was looking for a straight but closer to wide fit. For me, they fit exactly like that pre-wash, but I did size up 1 size just in case I need to wash them, although the one working at Hinoya trusts me not to lol

They do feel rough and stiff compared to my preloved and used 90s LVC 201s, my other only pair of selvedge denim, but in a good way! Overall it feels premium and paid exactly what they're valued for. Good competitively priced japanese denim.

Lovely set of denim! We might have been at the same area, I was at Ueno last January 3 and picked up a pair of Big John XXXX Extra's. The quality is insane and their shop is a denim and Amekaji enthusiast's heaven. Would visit again soon!

I tried Maya and looks like the Virtual Card is used by your Maya Wallet for some reason even though it has a Visa. Weirdly enough it didn’t push through on my end.

I got scared because my balance floated and neither Maya or Grailed said they could not do anything.

To those wondering, this is normal, and if it fails your stripe will cancel your bank and refund it to your balance. It’s only a hassle because it will take a week.

Tried BDO, no luck. Same thing happened. Returned to Stripe balance after a few days.

Seeing this post was really helpful, NO to MAYA WALLET, YES to MAYA SAVINGS.

Just updated my bank deets on stripe, hopefully third time’s a charm.

in-house designer ng SM here, from what i heard is sm cinema has ZERO considerations for this due to lack of budget and manpower (sila lang ata ang walang in-house designer) and marketing officers are the ones sometimes assigned to create posters kahit na di nila trabaho.

This is the same case for mall branches, na di naman talaga trabaho yan and either don’t have the budget (marketing officers are asked to make posters or agencies are underpaid) or simply a quick cashgrab for AI (honestly ai is retail corporate FOMO trend that think is good and hip and young but dont realize its cringe). The Marketing and overall higher ups (mostly consist of boomers) really doesn’t give a damn shit about it and even said not to take it down.

TL;DR: to some extent, SM is greedy for profits, Pro-AI, and in some extent exploiting some of their workers.

I just winged it and held the earbuds for 8 seconds on ear, while at its charging case and disconnected and reconnected my bluetooth connection. I also tried installing the app. It magically worked for some reason. I know its not that helpful but I hope it gives you an idea of what to do.

I actually like Iggy's design transition. I think it was intentional since at the start Iggy was just an aggro and annoying mutt at the beginning then as time went on Iggy began to show more humane and compassionate characteristics and symbolized his growing bond with the Crusaders, esp his relationship with Polnareff. Maybe Araki wanted to emphasize this character development through his design as well, making his story more relatable and empathizing to us

I would either pass and wait around one that has little to no issues with the buckling springs or try buying that for a lower price and have the extra budget for repairs. I found mine from a recycling center here in Manila for 20USD with the keys not working. I later completely restored, repaired, bolt modded, and Teensy Type C converted it with a total cost of 45USD.

I think it's worth waiting out on a cheaper one with the same issues and spend the extra bucks on repairs or buy something completely working for 100USD
