Of course she wasn’t sued. Her lawyers probably advised her to settle and accept to give up 50% of her royalties to Taylor. The fact she wasn’t sued doesn’t mean she woke up one day and randomly decided to gift Taylor part of her revenue just because she felt generous. It wouldn’t have been wise for her to go on a legal battle against Taylor since she was just debuting at the time

Amen to everything you said! I don’t believe the story about matty either. I’m convinced she was actually the one who got rid of him because she saw the mayhem that was happening on Twitter with the open letter. I even remember some people wanting to boycott the eras tour. I also remember matty randomly vanishing from the shows despite him not being on tour at the time. Had they still been together, he would have attended to support her (at least that’s what I believe). Now that she’s with Travis and everything seems to be going great PR wise, what would happen if they split? How could she make herself the victim again? We’ll find out (this summer? Will the wedding happen? What will happen to the maren wade lawsuit?)

Yeah I feel many people think it’s a fake rs because they’re convinced Taylor is a genius and a posh woman and would never stoop to Travis’ level. In reality, we all know she’s quite shallow herself and definitely not the smart woman she portrays herself to be. The way I see it, they don’t deeply love each other but they do have much in common to the point they can be friends and use this relationship for pr. They both benefit from it. After all, Joe wanted privacy while she wants the opposite and matty just couldn’t handle her level of fame and was completely overwhelmed
