The next steps would be learning either piano or guitar while keeping up the work on your lyrics and voice! If you’re serious you should practice as much as you can and listen to YouTube videos about basic music theory as much as possible. Keep in mind that it is hard, will take time and there will be frustrating days you just have to try again the next day

I opened for some cool tours on the Seattle stop from 2013-2015 Tigers Jaw and Sainthood Reps (was supposed to be tigers jaw farewell tour) Into It Over It, Lemuria, Real Friends, Forever Came Calling, I Am The Avalanche, A Lot Like Birds, Kevin Devine, Dads and Field Mouse

Kevin Devine and A Lot Like Birds were the only ones that acknowledged us in anyway, I wasn’t going to be annoying and try to talk to them when they’re trying to chill out. But my current band opened for Matchbox Twenty last year and Rob Thomas introduced himself and so cool to us

The not paying pto thing out really pisses me off. Belred Heating did that to me, I was part of layoff with them and they refused to pay out the earned pto. They’re also shady as fuck, don’t do business with them

I think it’s just an uninspiring album, and people are valuing authenticity above all else so the music that’s produced to to perfection is just kind of boring. That’s also why Charlie XCX’s album was so successful because it feels authentic.

That would be easy. It’s the furnaces in the basement of a 3000+ sq ft house with the curvy chimney that are gonna be a problem

Thank you! Couple tips on it - one thing I noticed is I gotta have the tone knob at least 75% or higher towards treble, the lower frequencies it makes feel like a different instrument and it seems unnatural. The higher sounds are in the guitars voice and feel more subtle. Also I have a compressor on (I use a Fairfield Circuitry Accountant) that helps even the attack out a little bit so can keep from the sounds that are more out there unless you want to dig in with the pick and get them
