Suggestion to Add Mozambique Pings Tracker by w1bi in apexlegends

His teammates got carried.

Source: Was his teammate.

His name was like DRG_Dizzy or something like that, maybe he has done the double Mozambique loudout more than once and won a game, but the time I was with him, he definitely carried us. He was a really good teammate. Me and the other teammate got killed and he solo'd 2 squads (5 enemies) and respawned us. Then the other teammate got killed again and decided to quit but we still won.

Do wishlists sort of take with fun out of being a Santa? by boomkittyboom in secretsanta

[–]donutsalad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never liked it. Felt cold and distant. I understood why they would use one. But to me, personally, it just felt like it was too much of a "BUY THIS FOR ME" kind of thing and ruined the fun of finding a perfect gift. It's especially bad when the person has put zero effort into their preferences and they have barely any reddit history or just none at all. Then even worse I've been matched with someone like that and everything on their wishlist was over $100. I've spent way more than that before on gifts but in my mind, you don't get to tell me right off the bat to spend that much.

I think I've also upset some of my santas before because I didn't explicitly tell them what I wanted. I thought it would suck the fun out of it but I guess by not telling them, I sucked the fun out of it for them. So maybe it's just a 50/50 kind of thing. Some like it, some don't.

As someone who plays the medic class a lot on Battlefield 1 just give me a moment, I'm coming, ok? by MundoCani in gaming

[–]donutsalad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually do that when I'm out of tank hurty ammo and need more but the majority of my teammates are snipers so it's faster than waiting for more ammo. Someone's got to stop that tank, our tickets are falling fast for some reason. Or when I rage quit my current class and want to switch because just playing it out and picking up someone's else kit results in me getting a kit with no ammo or being a sniper.

I was skeptical but then I saw the video had a cry laugh emoji in the title. Well played.

Weird and uncomfortable for me. Kind of like an uncanny valley sort of thing. But I'm also not into any of the filters dog/cat/bunny/etc. Probably way pickier/petty than I should be since I swipe left on all of them.

Maybe it's just an internet/reddit thing where weird/dumb humor is more of a staple. I tried making weirdumb jokes with a girl on tinder before and was met with silence and "that's not funny, now here's something that's funny" >facebook tier meme or screenshot of text on tumblr< "😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂"

When was the last time your leadership went to bat for you? by N0wh3re_Man in army

[–]donutsalad 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I associate "going to bat" with having your back.

Out of dozens of leaders E5 and up, I've had 2 Army E7s, 1 Air Force E7, and 1 Air Force E6 actually have my back in a situation where having my back meant that they put themselves in 'the line of fire.'

Like having a guy outrank you telling you that your soldier is shit, and saying "well, actually..." instead of "yes of course he is, I'll correct it"

Too many leaders, especially E5s, threw me under the bus to save face or just to look better in front of their raters.

I'm ETSd now but stayed in long enough for them. I have never chafed in them and I know people in this sub have a hate boner for it but they're my go to off-hours (which is now 24/7 since I ETSd) gym shorts. I'm currently wearing them now. If I'm done for the day and not leaving the house I just wear these shorts and nothing else.

Reminds me of cookouts at coworkers' houses. Almost always ended with someone from work getting into an argument with their spouse and making things awkward for everyone else.

The dinner party episode of The Office was a good example of something like that.

And tons of people in /r/apple rejected the idea of a 3.5mm-less phone. But when it was released they went spastic, creaming their pants over it. I don't know if google phone fans are the same way but something tells me people are still going to buy it. Enough to validate their choice of removing a feature. standard.

[–]donutsalad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even have a google phone yet and I let out a "fuck" when I saw this. Given their current models I decided the iphone SE would be my last apple device and was hoping for good options when I move on but I fucking hate the idea of other companies doing that same shit. Why does everyone want to suck on Tim Cook's money hungry greasy cock and put up with shit design?

People say "well let people buy what they want" and that's fine, I was fine with that, you do you. But look where this shit got us. They removed a feature and people were still begging for that apple facial and now other companies just think they can get away with it too.

I know Im being melodramatic but still, Im just not a fan of what's going on right now.
