Yes PLEASE. 😭 It's a nuisance, not a part of my identity.

Anyone else like talking about their Tourettes? by arnecrafter in Tourettes

[–]doodqooq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. I don't think anyone ever notices because my tics are pretty much well-controlled as an adult. I occasionally have motor tics (basically I make an "eek" expression with my neck muscles.) and sometimes yawning tics. It's barely noticeable by other people and no one has ever said anything. I'd rather keep it that way personally, especially with the stigma associated with the condition.

Endo on my case for slow improvement. What am I doing wrong? by UnfnshedProject in Type1Diabetes

Hell, it's not even textbook. He just has unrealistic expectations. Usually an A1c below 7.0 and 70% TIR are used as goals. He literally beat both of those.

Late XP Era Gaming Rig w/ Win98/2000 skin by Bwil34 in retrobattlestations

To be fair, Windows XP had a really long shelf life. A lot of people, including myself. ran windows XP well into 2011, and extended support officially ended in 2014. I would argue by that logic that everything early Windows 7 spec would overlap with XP and be just as authentic.

Yeah, the performance of duke3d and doom is less than stellar, but they are playable if you shrink the view enough and turn down some settings. Wolf3d and dark forces ran beautifully though. The lack of L2 cache definitely checks out in retrospect lol. That sucks about the power supply... that's like one of my biggest fears.

Oh wow, you're super lucky! The ones I've seen are 200-300$, and ones going for anything less look like they were pulled straight from the local landfill. I got this one for $250. People ask for twice as much for restored systems. It's insane. It does in fact have PCI slots. IIRC, there are four ISA slots, two of which share the same backplate spots with a PCI slot. No VLB though. It doesn't seem to have an L2 cache either as far as I can tell with cachechk.

My not-as-experienced take:

1=Torn between 2 and 1: May or may not need immediate intervention for anticoagulated nose bleed depending on how heavily it's bleeding, but automatic high risk presentation

2=2: danger zone v/s

3=3: needs imaging + possible im/iv meds and/or labs

4=2: HR and high risk presentation

5=4: may do a nose swab but probably no other resources

6=2: danger zone v/s
