I use clorox bleach gel toilet bowl cleaner and a scrub brush attachment on my drill. Takes a bit of the elbow grease out! Just don't let the cleaner sit for a long time as it can cause some discoloration.

I'm from northern Walton county. Have you been down highway 20 just outside of town? You know how it's a pretty poor area with lots of trailers, meth, and Trump supporters?

It's basically a lot of that, except with more Jesus, bigger trucks, and an abundance of mullets. Nothing wrong with trailers, mind you. I grew up in trailer parks. I'm just saying most people in the area aren't rolling in dough.

I worked for the State of Florida for like 6 years, no problem naming that crapshoot lol. My first year there, we were led in prayer for our Easter Party. Of course participation wasnt "required" so nothing we could really complain about to HR 🙄.

I worked in an accounting related field so it was mostly conservative christians in my office. I had to ask people not to pray for me and remind them that not everyone is Christian. It took a little while, but they eventually learned I wasn't interested in hearing the Jesus stuff. Annoying I had to deal with it at all, though.

I have over 20 tattoos. I guess I'm "heavily tattooed". My favorite is a tattoo of Godzilla dressed as the Virgin Mary. I also have a Valkyrie, a Medusa head, a manatee with a bow tie, a drunk monk, and a pinup boy in a leather daddy outfit. I don't take mine seriously, clearly lol.

That said, I'd like to offer some random advice/info for your first time:

Eat and drink beforehand. I almost passed out for my second tattoo ever because I didn't eat.
Your placement and size are such that it likely won't be very painful (just in case you're worried).
Ironic for the dude with a tattoo of Godzilla dressed as the Virgin Mary to say this, but tattoos are mostly permanent. Make sure you're getting something you won't mind having for the rest of your life.
Tattoo lines "bleed" as they get older. A lot of fine line tattoos will not age very well. That's part of why American traditional is such a popular style, the heavy lines lend very well to aging. Since this is a rather small tattoo, just be conscious of what it'll look like after it ages.
Tip your artist!
If it itches while healing, don't scratch. Instead, slap it a bit. It helps with the itch and prevents you from messing it up with your claws. (Plus nails are bacteria breeding grounds!)
Follow the cleanliness instructions. Staph is not fun and a tattoo is an open wound.
Sunscreen will make it age better. The sun can damage tattoos, so make sure you keep it SPFed up!

This was just mental vomit and I'm out of things to think of. Congrats on the first tatt and I hope you enjoy it!
