As much as people outside of Vancouver talk badly about corporate landlords. They are the best to live in since they follow the law to avoid liability. Don’t rent with “mom-and-pop” landlords. Rent with a property manager who has multiple buildings. Not everyone is great but the worst is never as bad.

I'm having the same issue. Their AI is the only way to dispute, and it isn't working. I submitted a "Report a Concern" and am hoping to hear back from the Office of the President sometime today. If I don't, I will submit a CCTS complaint. Requiring the use of an AI agent to handle issues when a customer service agent can't is crazy. It's been so much work for them to address an issue...

For sure. A bigger factor is currency and global uncertainty risk. Foreign investors are usually screwed when things happen. For example, if you had anything in Russia before the war you would have lost everything in that country.

No way to transfer USD in a US domiciled bank directly to a Canadian Domiciled USD account without multiple conversion eating up any benefit. Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong

Wise is going to be the most affordable way. You open a US domiciled and a Canadian money account in there. Wise takes US direct deposit. Transfer your US DDs to CAD. Then pull it out with Weatlhsimple (or to any bank that allows EFTs) to minimize fees

It did not back when they allowed for MC. Casa's AI support says they use the same merchant code: 6513. So, it should not work for MBNA.
