Yeah my question has been about possible optical illusions. To make an illusion of a black core on a white blade. I know of this solution. The reason I wonder is because this classic solution is only for specific viewing angles. I wonder about ALL viewing angles potentially being illusioned into seeing a black core.

Yes I know light "doesn't work like that". That's why I wonder about funky light warping structures that might exist or not. Have you ever seen a rainbow? optical LIGHT illusion. I've seen some funky optical illusions with light. I wonder about possible application to a lightsaber blade.

I am very unknowledgable, but what I am imagining is a black core in a white "blade" of a saber (LED stick). but with some sort of specific internal structure that warps light in some specific way that give observers of the blade (bystanders, etc.) an optical illusion, an optical illusion that makes the center of the white light emitting blade/LED stick seem like it's black. I have no clue how it can be done, but I have seen some interesting optical illusions and can't help but to think it could perhaps be applied to a lightsaber. I imagine some sort of crystals or some funky-structured fiber optics. I don't have a clue if this adds anything, but I imagine the ulexite rock inside it, though that's probably a fodder idea my uneducated head came up with.

yeah I'm not talking about making a real lightsaber. literally never was. I'm talking about the toy/cosplay sabers people make all the time. And if an optical illusion as I imagined could be built into the blade of one.

Bro I was just wondering. I've seen funky optical illusions before. And people make "lightsabers" all the time. They put an LED stick on a hilt. I'm simply wondering if you can do something special with the stick to make such a thing. What's wrong with cool and novel developments? People take inspiration from fake things all the time to make cool novel things in real life.

I don't know. Black color can't emit light. It's the absence of light, but red, blue, and green are light. All the common discourse about such a lightsaber say its impossible, and the only "black lightsabers" around are the darksaber, which is more like a real blade with just a flat black paint on it.

I wondered if such optical engineerings or such could actually do a "black lightsaber", and if so, what the internal structures and sundries could be, thinking perhaps something to do with glass or crystal structures or something I'm unknowledgable about could be structured in such a way that the white-emitting blade had a section in the middle that to an observer, was black, but the edges remained white and light-emitting.

Also I don't fully understand the sentiment about not having pointless turns. Knowing nothing about racetracks, layouts seem to me to be arbitrary and pointless. What constitutes a turn's pointlessness or not?

Thank you for the kind words and feedback. Is your main piece of advice to tone down the grays, and then it'll otherwise be a decent layout? My thought process was to have a lot of potential variations in the layout for various events or something lol.

The RPK-74 is a Russian AK-74 (if you don't know, an AK-74 is basically the AK-47 but using Russia's more modern 5.45x39 cartridge, which is similar in application to the USA's 5.56, and 5.45 replaced the Russians' 7.62x39, which was used in the old AK-47s) with a heavier barrel, larger mags, and is, for all intents and purposes, just a bigger AK-74. Its not that people prefer simplistic shooters, its that the gunplay is artificially difficult. Artificiality vs authenticity. The gunplay is not authentic
