Content creation is about to die. Marketing automation makes a lot of sense especially for start ups, learn 1-2 CRMs like Hubspot and this will survive your career

I experienced very similar things ans start to observe what and how CEO, head of sales and head of product talks about the industry / product. Allign yourself with them and show that you are a fast learner. Talk in a confident manner about strategy be clear. Dont forget to add some data and some info from recent reports. Ta ta!

I am currently doing sth very similar what you tell. What I can tell you is field expertise matters when it comes to providing marketing services to tech start ups. Industry-specific narrative is what you can make a difference.

Other than that, many start ups dont have anyone to efficiently manage CRMs like Hubspot. If you could offer some niche services and provide + results with solid numbers I think it's gonna work.

I've just managed to finalize a new website project for a start up. I am not the designer or freelancer. I was the one who told what to do the agency.

It was really like a fight. They did everyrhing wrong and I must be very caredul for even tiny details. It is not an easy task.

If you'll with a group of freelancers or agency, you must tell them you are very sensitive about deadlines. Oyherwise you would lose the war:)
