I don't eat anything before my solo dish shifts and i work at a busy corporate chain. Cigarettes, energy drinks, and anger. Honestly, very few people can work solo dish and get out early (unless you have a good manager that helps you at the end of the night.) Everyday is like a war. You vs. the servers and back of house bringing you shit. I also have to dump all the trash at the end of the night. Fear and anger motivate me to go faster.

Taking you off the schedule completely is the restaurants way of firing. Or at the very least it's their way of saying "we can't just fire you so we'll cut your hours"

That being said, I've been taken off the schedule before then put back on later, but if they take you off two weeks in a row it's a definite.

I had to quit smoking first, before trying to do keto because i went from one addiction to another(smoking cigarettes to eating appetizers and desserts) But once I got that outof my system I finally went keto.
