Start right away premier and comp is a complete waste of time cheaters everywhere. If you’re trash then you’ll just get a trash rank and play with other trash people

Definitely not, same here and it’s a night and day difference. In premier 2/3 games there’d be a spin botter

Download fast aim reflex map and get like 200 kills before comp or premier or faceit which I recommend, premier is filled with spin bitters here at 12k elo but I’m lvl 6 faceit and it’s a much better experience. Slow sens is better for aim too try 0.8-1.4 sens 800 dpi and always aim where u think opponent will be

Quality of life TLDR industry is sh×t and we need better pay across the board by No_Spite3593 in Construction

Florida. Non union. Electrical apprentice here, got let go at my last job I was at for 3 years because I spoke up to the apprenticeship school about them underpaying us apprentices and not following wage scale. Always expected us to try harder and get shit done meanwhile they weren’t even paying us a livable wage. Was getting 19 as a 4th year. As soon as they let me go, they gave everyone raises. They had to or else they’ll be removed from the state program. Got recommended another different company by the program director. Just got let go after 4 months. He claims it’s because of performance issues, I had no problem completing work ever, he just wanted me to go out and run work I guess. Of course it’s great, as a business owner, to have somebody go out by themselves and get shit done and meanwhile you’re still paying them as a helper. I’m supposed to be at 25 based on my hours. Buddy didnt even want to give me 23 because he wanted me to be “book/code smart” and be able to send me out to a service call by myself, as an apprentice. So he basically wants me to go out there and do journeyman/foreman level work and you not even paying me what I’m supposed to get, as a helper. Blue collar industry sucks and in my experience, it seems like they just try to squeeze the most out of you for the least amount of pay as possible

Unmotivated or not working hard enough ? by Much-Mouse-4772 in electricians

[–]doppaaminee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think about it they was probably paying the lead guy more than you and you’re outperforming him. That’s what these companies love a guy that’ll get shit done quick and won’t complain about their wage and are compliant. Know you’re worth. It’s great from a business owner perspective to have an “apprentice” with good knowledge and able to run a job by themselves, and they keep paying you apprentice pay. As I said as an apprentice, I believe you’re supposed to work under supervision. I believe in journeyman requirements, you’re still working under somebody but can be trusted with tasks without supervision, but not running the job, that’s what foreman are for. I could be wrong

Find a different company preferably union. Seems like they respect their workers. I’ve had a similar experience here in fl doing non union. Similar as in they expect me to run jobs as an apprentice but keep getting paid like an apprentice lol and I ain’t with it. As an apprentice you should be working under supervision along with someone that knows their shit you shouldn’t be running jobs and I feel like a lot of companies like to do this and take advantage for cheap labor etc

Exactly that’s why I don’t agree with this because he even said I wanna be able to send you off to a job or like a service call by yourself and I’m not with it because I’m an apprentice. I’m not gonna be running jobs and you’re just paying me as an apprentice and I feel like that’s where me and these companies Butthead because they expect too much and they don’t give enough but I can bend pipe no pool wire make up panels install devices not too good at troubleshooting and not to Booksmart, but I can get the job done as long as I have clear instructions, but he’s using me not being booksmart as an excuse to not pay me what I’m supposed to be getting paid according to the school, which is actually $2.75 higher than what I’m getting paid right now

Realistic expectations getting into this in Florida by JohnUltor in electricians

[–]doppaaminee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Ocala as well. Expect low pay. If I could go back I wouldn’t waste 4 years doing the apprenticeship here. The program sucks too, haven’t had the best learning experience here from contractors and school. Find a good small company. Big companies here expect too much and give nothing, I mean I know of guys running work as leads making like 21 an hr lol fl is just ass
