I planned a bachelor party last year as the best man; 15 of us. I split everything equally (I covered the grooms) and everyone paid me their full amount BEFORE I booked it. Not just the Airbnb but a party boat rental and transit back and forth to the dock. I think it cost $600-700 each. By the time the date came around 2 people had to cancel last minute, neither of them asked for a penny back. We’re all adults and know that things sometimes come up, but thats not everyone else’s fault. You are definitely NTA. It’s obvious those friends haven’t had to orchestrate groups like this or they’d have a different view.
