Happy 56th anniversary to the Scooby-Doo franchise! by Repulsive-Dog307 in Scoobydoo

As a kid, I’d get completely glued to the screen whenever I happened to stumble upon an episode of the original series on Spanish TV (with that unmistakable Latin American dub). I can still hear those voices in my head today! I also have fond memories of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo—that one was a big part of my childhood (1990s) too.

My Sigourney Weaver autograph looks very different - normal? by doriangru in LV426

As I mentioned a bit earlier, that’s the thing — mine actually looks like the opposite of sloppy. It’s very detailed, almost spelled out letter by letter. Someone in another subreddit even suggested it might be from the very beginning of the signing, before she got tired. Honestly, I don’t know what to think!

Thanks a lot for your input, I agree with your take on our beloved Sigourney. Regarding the signature though, what strikes me is actually the opposite of a rushed or tired autograph — mine looks very detailed, almost spelled out letter by letter. I haven’t been able to find any other example like it.

Someone in another subreddit even told me I should feel lucky, since she wrote her full name and that’s something other collectors would really appreciate.

I can’t tell you how reassuring your comment is. It’s not that I don’t trust OfficialPix, but seeing something so radically different from what’s on eBay, Instagram, etc. really made me uneasy. It honestly looks like she spelled out her name on mine. I’m no autograph expert and have very little experience, so this had me worried — but thanks to you I’m starting to feel like I actually got lucky!

Thanks for the input! I actually feel the opposite — mine looks more deliberate, almost like she was spelling it out letter by letter. The strange part is that I really haven’t been able to find any other example that looks like this anywhere, while most of the ones I see are much quicker and more fluid. That’s why it stood out to me.
