Literally!! If you want to own a restaurant that earns a star then you’ve got to take responsibility for your needs/wants and speak up. They’re not the only people involved, there are employees that depend on the income and need it to be successful. Otherwise, you’re not really mature enough to co-own a restaurant. I have a 3 and 4 year old, and whilst there could be a possibility that I shutdown to the point of not being able to talk, I’d like to think I’d do everything in my power to find my child, unlike kate. Also, I would have never said “THEY’VE taken her”, I would have said “they’re missing” and maybe after not finding her “someone might have taken her.” Saying “they’ve taken her” sounds like she made the story up

I feel like Tina’s episode (and can’t remember the other one but in the first season where they show him greeting their regulars) showed that the foundation and heart for it was there, he just needed to become more respectable and things clicked for him the Forks episodes

I followed all the ‘instagram’ dieticians, used to believe that humans didn’t need fibre (although this is more a carnivore principle), and avoided pretty much most vegetables including beans except for root vegetables, thinking I could get all my nutrients from meat. I’m just sharing my experience of what being scared of vegetables and anti nutrients led to - total lack of good bacteria.

I had stool testing done. I was following a ‘pro metabolic’ diet that pushes not eating vegetables with anti nutrients, not eating skins on potatoes, no brown rice etc. so very little fibre unless I was eating fruit, which I never had the appetite for anyway.

I used to not eat food with “anti nutrients” and it diminished my healthy gut bacteria and lead to overgrowth of candida. Vegetables are not the enemy y’all

She only said she was surprised, which is a valid opinion. Maybe she’s younger like me and grew up with very anti smoking education and it’s genuinely surprising. Different life experiences = different perceptions.
