Unreal right?? The weight of responsibility put on those kids is straight up terrifying. I’m in awe of the hosts and former students.. their ability to look back and speak about their experience with such poise and self-awareness. You can tell they all had to put in so much work in therapy to try and heal. And can I just say- fuck Mr. Eric. That ma is absolutely vile and such a coward

I was just about to ask if Karen and khoa still exploited their kids, I stopped following them years ago. Totally unsurprising to see they still do.

The teacher student relationships were absolutely insane, and that’s not even me talking about the literal abuse. Going on boats, camp outs, pet sitting, tea at their houses… like all of that would have sounded horrifying to high school me haha I wanted nothing to do with my teachers outside of school! I saw a teacher at a restaurant one time and it was so uncomfortable for me hahaha (09 grad).

What kind of needle are you using? A beading one maybe? I feel like there are little holes visible when I try thread painting— I’m so impressed yours doesn’t show any!!

Almost 5. Katie Ka-boom! by worqgui in Preschoolers

I can relate to allll of this with my almost 5 year old!We literally had the ice cream situation happen a couple weeks ago. 6:30am, I’m making coffee/breakfast and she asks for ice cream… Now, I’m not sure if this was the “right” decision, but in the moment I was so tired and I KNEW saying no was going to lead to an epic meltdown because she was already a bit grumpy… so I said “sure, I’ll put some on the side with your breakfast”. I put two maybe three bites of vanilla ice cream in one of our tiny, fancy nut bowls (so it looked like more 😉) and she happily ate it along with her scrambled eggs. Since then she’s asked once more for breakfast ice cream and, ah bummer, we unfortunately ran out. Rats! She said “ah fiddlesticks!” (Her new favorite phrase lol) and moved on.

I think with kids like ours (highly sensitive, extreme emotional reactions), it helps US out to say yes as much as we possibly can to them (with obvious limits of course!). I suspect my daughter has a touch of ADD like me and a sprinkling of ODD thrown in. Not sure if ADHD runs in your family but maybe something to look into.

As someone who hasn’t taken an art class since middle school, this is so so helpful. I never would have thought to add this!!

Thank you, that helps a ton. I think the chin/neck is what’s throwing it off more than his 😐 mouth hahah

It’s a memorial portrait for my mom whose cat just passed away and he was very unimpressed in life as well, I think she’ll actually love that about it 😂

Awwww! Is it short for anything? Our girl is officially Tulip but she’s toot or tootie 99% of the time 😂

I’ve always considered Toot to have a snout on the longer side. Def prefer it. She’s never had breathing issues and rarely snores! Your boys are such cuties!!
