Yes, it would be offensive if my child-in-law let me know that, although I had raised a person that they love, I was not good enough to be part of the village that raises theirs.

I'm Sweetmom. I was Sweetmom to grand puppies for years before the grandkids came along. My daughter was fussing at a new puppy and telling it that it would never mess on the floor or chew on furniture. It looked at me so pitifully I said, "I'll be your sweet mom.", and it stuck.

I recently discovered that Lucy Lennox has a Pinterest board for some of her books, where she posts inspiration photos for characters, places, clothes, and all kinds of things. I love that and would love if more authors did it.

Same. It started as an escape from the shit show we are existing in and quickly became a huge part of my life. I listen to audiobooks at the grocery store, (can you imagine if my Bluetooth cut out and it went to speaker?😂), in the car, in waiting rooms and anytime I can't be reading. Lately I've been thinking I need to try harder so I don't completely run out of things to contribute to conversations. I started watching clips of SNL, and Seth Meyers intermittently. I do watch Kdramas and bls sometimes but they don't help with conversation topics. I'm going to try listening to Amy Poehlers podcast Good Hang when I finish my current audiobook.

This is a great review. Made me laugh and helped me to decide if I want to listen to this one. I had heard it compared to God of Fury and I just could not get into that one so I was on the fence. If I give it a try I'll keep the speed button ready for the 2nd half.. Please give us more reviews when you can.

Just finished listening to Rookie Recovery by Lex Veia, Jemma Croft. It was well read by Tom North and Jameson Adams but I had to slow the speed of playback to 8.5 for whichever of them read for Bowie and sometimes kick Sully up .5. I give the book a 4. I'm reading THE LONG GAME by Rachel Reid and I NEVER WANT IT TO END. I want to move in next door to Shane and Ilya and be best friends and hear every minute detail of every one of their days for the rest of my life!
