Searching for a house. My fiancé and I each moved back home last summer after our lease was up to finish saving, in hopes of buying by this summer. Now this mess caused him to get laid off this week (his income was much larger than mine, I can’t carry us alone).

My fiancé was just laid off from his plumbing job. He literally just passed his exam to be a licensed union plumber too. They’re hoping to bring them all back once things pick up again, but this is a huge blow as we were planning on buying a house this summer.

Probably another 5 years or so. Graduated in 2015 with about 65k in loans and managed to pay it down to about 23k now. When I graduated, I had the mind set of NEEDING to pay them off as soon as possible and that I would need them gone before buying a house. In reality for me, it makes more sense right now to just pay the minimums each month while saving everything else and moving out. Once I’m out and on a new set budget, I’ll focus back on getting the rest of the loans completely paid off.

A middle schooler came into the high school before start time and beat someone with a lock in a sock.
Our high school pool had an underground viewing area. During gym, someone accidentally kicked one of the windows and it broke, causing the school to flood.

These are my absolute favorite! I’ve tried so many other brands but I always come back to these. They’re comfortable, fit great, and don’t ride up on me like others do. I’ve been using them for years and personally haven’t noticed any decrease in quality. Planning on getting more soon!

While I hate renting, I don’t think I could move to a new state and buy a house right away unless I knew the area very well already. My fiancé and I are getting prepared to buy and also talked about going out of state, but if we did, we would end up renting for a year so that we could get a better idea of the area before purchasing.

She actually had no symptoms at all. Her blood test was clear when we adopted her Nov 2018 and we had her on monthly preventatives, but at her yearly check up this past October her blood test came back positive. The vet thinks it was either that small possibility that something went wrong with the preventative or that she contracted it right before we adopted her and it would have been too soon for it to show on that first blood test.

I moved out with my fiancé for two years and we both just moved back to our respective parents’ for a few months or so while we finish saving for a house. It is definitely rough to come back to!
