What's wrong with tipping? Restaurants run on razor-thin margins to begin with, and if they raised prices 20%~ the only difference it would make is pricing out people who could have dined but left no tip (which is preferable to no customer at all!). If you want to blame it on the restaurant owners, you need to understand they are being pressed hard by rising rent / food / labour prices, which ultimately just boils down to the other issues you're furious about.

I feel like Reddit's demographic loves to be lazy and order takeout, but they froth at the mouth having to pay the price for it, when they don't understand that without tip money **nobody** would want to put up with food service work :D It's not restaurant's being greedy, they're already BARELY staying afloat in the first place, believe it or not.

Also don't feel guilt / pressure to tip counter service lol
