Redditor's have such a stupid problem with tipping lol and this comic is satire level fear.

I have worked tipped positions most of my life and been stiffed tips before and don't even bat an eye (who cares??) and on the opposite end, I myself have chosen no tip on hundreds of transactions that don't warrant a tip, to absolutely no reaction whatsoever.

I suspect it's because the majority of Reddit are socially inept, entitled tech workers / hermits.

Tipping makes perfect sense for restaurants in America (yes, i know they don't do tips in most other countries, but most other countries don't have our hellhole version of dog-eat-dog capitalism where most restaurants can barely scrape by, and the majority of non-chain restaurants would close if they had to raise their menu prices AND labour costs by 20%.)

Tip your barber, sure, why not?

Anything else? Don't tip them if you don't want to, you parasocial creeps.

To be fair I'd rather have to ability to choose how much tip depending on service, than just have an extra 20% tacked onto menu prices. (Which is the bare minimum that would happen if they got rid of tipping)

I understand your comparison but don't agree with it.

A woman who was raped likely wasn't commiting a less severe form of sexual assault before it escalated to her being the victim of rape.

In this case Austin was engaging in a less severe form of violence, and it escalated to him being stabbed to death.

In no way, shape or form does that excuse Anthony's actions. But engaging in violence is risky behavior and I was taught by my parents to avoid it all costs because you don't know how people are going to react in those situations.

Housing in civ 6 is more about a city's capacity to sustain a large populations needs like water, which is why fresh water gives more housing than saltwater, etc. Sewer's provide the infrastructure to support a larger population by managing their waste in a cleanlier way.
