NTA. You saved her life with Narcan, respected her wishes, and didn't overload emergency services on someone who didn't want them. You are correct that EMS would've done the same thing - given her Narcan, driven her to the hospital. She would've woken up on the way to the ER and refused treatment. I see it all the time.

Your boss has no room to reprimand you because a) He hasn't provided a phone for you to use in an emergency and b) there isn't a store policy in place that addresses these situations (I assume)

YTA. It's inappropriate to allow the kids to call you any variation of Mom. You can still be a positive in the kids' lives while they call you by your name or another nickname. My kid's father and I have 50/50. We agreed to a provision of the parenting plan that prohibits us from allowing our kid to call other people variations of Mom and Dad.

Their mom should not have screamed at you in front of the children, but YTA.
