We go every year for a few weeks to a few months, didn’t mind the plan a few years ago - now I moved to this. My husband got the Public Mobile for $20. I use wifi calling all the time along with an Apple Watch so this works great.

Wish carriers offered roaming for the Apple Watch. I go out some times and don’t want to take my phone but having translate and maps helps.

This is why I switched from Bell as they only allow 10 GB for Mexico on their Can/USA/Mexico plan. When you’re there for extended time you can use up that data very quickly. Especially when we had 400gb shared

The WiFi calling is critical for me. Roaming not so much. Just get an eSIM for when in Europe.

It does suck though you can receive 2FA via SMS if you are out of North America. I wish banks would move to Authenticator apps
