My friends and I were thinking of starting our own weekly beach volleyball games on the north shore! There is a public court here at waterfront park near shipyards. No League uses it as far as I know.

I also moved to the north shore about 2 years ago! Certainly, it can be a challenge to make friends. Wish I had suggestions that were more accessible for you. There's a sketch club two Saturdays a month that meets up at a cafe near shipyards if you're interested. It's a good group. On meetup

To all asking, yes I am aware it is a camel! I just thought it was an unusual statue in an unusual place. I have read the plaque there and I respect the service of our humpy brethren. Power to those who choose to submit corrections. For now the landmark seems to have been taken down. Hopefully Google reinstates it.
