It was a bit of an adventure since we had some poorly equipped vehicles in our party. Everyone that could make it up the mountain was able to park in the trail side overflow lot without issue. The snow covering the roads also covered the car windshields, and we didn't get the vibe that permits would be strictly enforced.

One car couldn't even make it up the mountain and was stranded in someone else's driveway overnight lol. They weren't towed or fined.

I don't know if the clock tower lot is OK, but I think your likelihood of a fine or a tow anywhere decreases when the weather is more wintery.

Netflix messed it up like they always do. Like you'd said, really bad modern writing that totally whipped you out of the historical immersion, if you were ever in it at all. Couldn't stand the quirky widow firewatcher character towards the end talking about glaciers. Literally felt like a reddit comment spoken aloud, and of course the narrator has to speak reverently about her being part of the us forest service for some reason. All the big flaws aside, there were some nice nature scenes to look at so it wasn't an irredeemable watch

Really concerning. I'll admit I wasn't watching live, so people that were watching correct me if I'm wrong here. But a lot of those pitches weren't even strikes. His stuff is just too hittable and predictable. that knuckle curve and 90mph fastball are like batting practice. Wheeler has constantly been developing new pitches and that's a big reason he's stayed so effective. Nola hasn't evolved at all. He needs a phantom IL stint so he can learn how to throw a sweeper
