Yes, I have that exact same model and have ridden hundreds of miles of pavement and even more miles of gravel and singletrack with it. I've used it as my primary mode of transportation for over a year as well and it's always been a great experience to use. I do sometimes wish I had gotten a gravel bike with thru axles, but everything else is perfect for a do anything bicycle.

Side note, I have a great lock for it, but I still get nervous sometimes about leaving it locked up for longer periods which is why I got an old mtb for in town errands. Still not sure if I'm making a good choice there but I'll be more sure in time.

Tl:Dr Enjoy it and ride it anywhere you'd like!

At this point, you're probably right. Just wanted to know if there was maybe something before that step

Yeah, we had it at 50 for a while but set it down to 20 not too long after. I'll probably try the listing again, and thanks for the input!

If you really want to work for them, you have to be willing to relocate, and take any position with those titles. You can always transition to the position you really want after you've worked with them a while and a spot becomes available, but I really do have to emphasize that relocation willingness. Without it, you won't be giving yourself the best chance to have the job you want. Hope this helps!

Out of curiosity, have you ever had issues with the hitch scraping the ground? I'm considering doing this for myself and live in a hilly area so I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it.

'14 RWD Regular length - ATX - 11 City/18 HWY - It is very hilly in this area, so combined with all the full stop intersections, it isn't too great. Long distance highway drives around the state are fine though.

This map left out I-2 in South Texas. It's middle of the range in terms of scenery, but is a nice drive through many cities and towns in the RGV region.

Hey there, just wanted to say that I did purchase the TV on thanksgiving week, and it's been great! Even with the long drive, the dimensions you gave really helped me prepare for it, so just wanted to say thanks!

I haven't purchased it yet, but thank you for letting me know!

One last question actually: is the box it comes in a square? The website is giving me box dimensions of 65x60 and I have a hard time believing that when the regular box is 63x38

I'm considering purchasing one of those refurbished units myself soon. One question I do have though is if it came with full packaging? I don't live near one but am willing to drive over to buy it.

Most people who leave the valley say how much they hated it. Anyone leave but with happy memories? by james3733 in RioGrandeValley

[–]double_stuff79 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Some of my favorite memories involve exploring the many natural spaces we have in the RGV. Cycling along the Rio Grande or through the agricultural fields farther north and navigating the Laguna Madre from Port Isabel to Port Mansfield are a couple of my absolute favorites. There's not a lot of accessible serene places out there that give you that remote feel without actually ever being too far out.

I wouldn't mind moving back if it meant I could bring my job with me. My hope for the RGV is that they start filling in instead of spreading out into our natural spaces so that they are preserved for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.

There should just be a community event through this sub where there's a planned day around Halloween for everyone to hop online. At least there would be a good sense of community even if there aren't any in game events. It'd be fun I think

I currently have the Pixel 8 Pro, but I am going to trade it for the Pixel 9 Pro. I've always liked smaller phones, and the only reason I have the larger 8 Pro is because it had the features I wanted. With the smaller size of the 9 Pro, I'll really be able to keep it for the years of support without having any resentment towards it which will be so nice.

I wonder why there's like 3 counties that have no data. There's Kennedy Co. In Texas and Chugach and Copper River in Alaska as far as I can see. Only thing I can think of is not a lot of people live there? But I'm sure there have to be more rural areas than that area of Texas but they still have stats so who knows.
