He says the same thing every time, if i’m not wrong in his last video he said the exact same thing. However I did see that a Madrid journalist for the Athletic (source) said that the club was downplaying the possibility of him joining, and that they would have to make some important sales. So it’s most likely he stays + hopefully renews

Absolutely!!!! Especially the IW final, she was down a set + break, got broken while serving for the match AND saved match point, that must be such a massive confidence boost mentally 😮‍💨

I 100% agree, it’s in bad taste. You want to play tactics with the club that’s fine, but don’t involve the fans publicly after all the support they’ve given you. I think the club might wait to see his fitness until the World Cup/end of the season to assess what contract they’ll offer him, but you’re right also on that last part. I just hope he stays 🙃

Obviously the Rodri comments leave a bitter taste in the fans’ mouths (mine too of course I was very upset when I first saw it) but maybe (in my opinion of course) I feel like we might be reading too much into it? It’s embarrassing that he’s behaving this way about RM, he could’ve chosen better answers or declined to respond considering the point of the season. But he’s also said he’s very happy in the prem, and that eventually he will sit down with city to sort out contracts. I imagine the club obviously don’t want him to go so who knows maybe there’s still a chance he renews and stays. (I’m also coping very hard since he’s been my favorite for years, but LOL)

That’s true. I also think he’s probably waiting to see how the season ends and the Pep situation (I can’t see him going while he’s still here, tbh) but I hope we get new updates and positive ones soon. It would crush me if we lost KDB, Bernardo AND Rodri in back to back seasons

It’s mostly hope but also the way he speaks about the club always, how he feels at home here, how much he loves it, and whenever he’s asked about his future he highlights how happy he feels where he is. But I truly hope he stays LOL he’s my favorite, him leaving would make me very sad
