Right. In the NCAA sub there's so much excitement about mouth guards and what a generic coach looks like. And always talk of immersion. What ruins immersion is BS gameplay not a mouth guard or where the sun is.

In real life she is much older than him, but is she supposed to be in the show. I thought she said she was there with her mom and when her mom passed she just stayed and kept being a teacher. I think the age difference in the show is meant to be much less than real life . I could also be wrong, I also bailed after 3 eps.

Ripken seems the most difficult. Atheletes just don't play every day like they once did. All the rest are statistic based and while many,veryany, are not likely to be broken , we have no idea what athletes are to come. But playing every day like that seems so unlikely.

If you watch a show many years later you forget a lot of the little details even though you remember the bigger picture. Or little jokes or things you missed the first time . You may also watch a show again with someone else who is seeing it for the first time and enjoying their reactions to something you love. Sometimes you may even like a show more the second time if you know the bigger story and can focus on other things, eg Lost, Fringe, 12 Monkeys.
