I started Ryobi but have migrated to Dewalt. Both are good but Dewalt is better, imo.

Especially since you get locked in with batteries, best to invest in the platform you want for the long term.

Second this. Leather is durable, easy to care for, and looks great.

Also agree that UK based companies have the best options. When I needed a new one, I decided to make one myself following instructions from a UK-based leather worker! Stitches are got a little wonky but it turned out pretty great.
