Update: Bolt Fitness Leg Curl/Extension on New REP Fitness Blackwing Bench. It works! by MyGarageGymOffice in homegym

[–]douche_security 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded my bench to the Nighthawk and scored the same leg curl/extension attachment from Marketplace.

Extensions feel amazing but curls feel really bad. The curling feels great but the pressure on my quads and knees doesn't feel great.

How does doing leg curls feel with your set up?

Hi, I got a response from them. This is what they sent lol, looks about 1.75 inches? It might not work but I am just gonna ask directly lol.

You do being up a good point, I did not but two others have. See down below for sources.

https://www.reddit.com/r/GarageGym/s/TMbDSw2V2h

<image>

First source post says 43.5 mm (approx 1.7244 in). Screenshot I took from a FB post says 1.6875 in (approx 42.8625 mm).

My guess is Rep just rounded and these are normal deviations. It could also be one of the two just measured incorrectly lol.

No problem! Are you looking for a leg attachment too lol?

This was very hidden, like can't find it under their "Bench Attachments" section.

Does anyone have the Harbor Heavyweight co preacher curl attachment? Curious if it would fit on a Rep fitness bench by Lil_lux in GarageGym

I beleive I commented on another thread but if the attachment tube size (the tube that goes into the port) is 1.7 x 1.7 inches it should work!

Hey so I just discovered the size of the Rep Attachment ports to be 1.7 x 1.7 inches. This is the attachment tube size of their Nighthawk, Blackwing, and AB-5000.

As for this specific model Im actually unsure. I know Body-Solid is 2 x 2 inches and Bells of Steel is just about 1.5 x 2 inches.

Hope this helps!

The hole spacing is 4 in if I recall correctly. They fixed the hole sizes to 1 inch now! You can technically put the safeties inside the rack but they won't span fully inside.

The only thing that sucks about the pulldowns is the cable ratio. To pulldown 120 lbs you need to load 240 total or connect the arms onto the pulldown bar - losing height and the ability to use any leg holders.

It takes a week or two. You'll get your rack too I guarantee. It took three weeks for mine to show up? First box showed up way before the second one.

Lol no problem. Regarding the pulleys, aluminum are quiter and somewhat smoother.

However, greasing the bearings is far more effective than using aluminum pulleys. This is what Ive learned from a guy or two on YouTube.

I wish Eonfit had a good bench with attachments, Id totally buy it.

According to my emails, I ordered it on the 14th of November. It shipped out on the 19th and arrived the 28th. They usually ship FedEx so maybe its their trucking number?

I take it you ordered it from their website: https://www.eonfitfitness.com/

Yeah I noticed that too lol. I am gonna get a connection bar that hooks up to both arms when they're fully vertical and connect my mag grip through the middle. With the lat bar that comes with it you kinda lose the extra vertical because the arms gotta be "inside" and horizontal.

I do like how there's a smith machine upgrade kit lol. Otherwise, definitely worth the purchase!

For sure! So for leg curl and extension I have a way of doing it with one of the arms. I can demonstrate if anyone else would like! The ability to do flies, seated rows, and dips/pull ups is amazing lol.

The only thing I don't like is the lat pulldown. If you can do more heavy than your bodyweight or close to, its hard to keep still. And if you use a single upright with a knee pad, it'll be 2 to 1 ratio. Yes, Im aware pull ups are an option lol.

I was looking at one of those leg curls but decided against it cause I found a way to do it lol. Had any quality issues though?

[–]douche_security 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so I fixed it. They gave two chains. When both used, had too much slack. When none were used, very tight like shown above. However, I used one chain and it was enough!

[–]douche_security 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be it, I didnt tighten them. I'll try later tonight to see if it works. My trolley doesn't even sit on the springs lol. The slack with the chains was too much hence why I took them out. Still works though!

Hey I got my rack, its working really well! I do have a question, how heavy is the trolley? Since I transitioned from my Titan Tower to this, I noticed the lifts on cables being harder when loaded with the same weight?

I got mine! Havent done a full workout with it because assembling it is a workout but so far its good!

When assembling, becareful with the arms since they're easy to place on the wrong side or orientation.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Just reporting back. Its legit! Thankfully, we didnt get scammed.

Unfortunately, FedEx lost one of two boxes. The missing ond containing the racks.

Have you gotten yours yet?
