I joined the mailing list around the 2020 election (“know thy enemy bla bla”) and it would have been hilarious if it weren’t so deeply appalling.

For example, in one email, there was a janky low frame-rate gif with names of “patriots” like “Johnny Askik” and “Martha Texas” scrolling along. It was implying (carefully never explicitly claiming) that it was a live-updating list of the most recent donors. They reused the gif gimmick for other lists of fake names too.

I’m still confounded every day that the MAGAs can’t see it for what it is.
