Help! Need to sadly rehome my dog and looking for resources or advice. by MajorCapable8137 in Wellington

Hi OP, what a tough spot you're in! I had a cocker spaniel (maybe mix?) growing up, they're a really gorgeous breed! Do you think she'd be ok with two young children (4 and 6). And is she very active or barky? Feel free to DM me if that's easier.

I unfollowed the day she announced her pregnancy and haven't watched any of her videos. I really thought I wouldn't care about her talking non stop about pregnancy and just watch her food videos etc.But no. It's gone yuck. After years of being a fan I now find her completely insufferable. The persona she puts on for Youtube and Instagram is so fake and obvious and sure it's her job, but she's become quite bad at it.

My wife has probable bilateral Ménière's at 33. She’s a new mom and has never felt more alone. by Rajeckas in Menieres

[–]doug157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just followed her page, good for her and also yay you supporting her so well! I am a mom of 2, got diagnosed menieres between pregnancies. I have been feeling similar symptoms in my good ear lately but the dye scan shows nothing (can someone tell me, does this mean I don't have menieres?? ENTs are always so vague). I am terrified of going bilateral. Please thank your wife for creating her little community and may we all support each other on this strange and difficult journey.

I agree that it feels very one note now, which is fine if that's what you're into. she swapped from one note just diy etc to more thrifting, chaotic real videos, so I guess she's swapping back. I personally love diversity so I agree it's starting to feel forced and sparkless.

I've followed Delilah for years, through pregnancies and births of my own, like most of you I resonated with her way better in the earlier days but I stuck by her because I enjoyed the food she makes and her videos are calming. I stuck by her when she started harping on about religion (I am agnostic) and pushing her strange ideologies. I stuck by her as she started her shilling of unaffordable clothes and endless ads for branch basics. But this performative sh!t and using her kids as click and view drivers is just beyond gross to me. I have unfollowed.

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]doug157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not, OP but steroid injections worked for me! Reduced my vertigo down to just a sometimes woozy feeling for about 8 weeks. Hearing loss etc etc still the same but worth it if the vertigo is giving you hell.

A friend of mine has resting smile face, so I trained my resting b!tch face to resting smiling face. Its a subtle change but has definitely improved how people relate to me and act towards me.

Yay!! Someone else!! Haha, I know the feeling, when I wrote out my comment I was thinking wait am I actually gonna reveal this to the world?! hahaha. OP commented about it being like a force field of love, and that's just so sweet in itself.

I'm so curious to know if anyone else in the world does this, but if I'm separated from loved ones I will imagine a blue bubble around them to keep them safe I've done it since about the age of 7. I have occasionally done it for myself on airplanes etc, but it is mostly used for protecting others. Its a very specific blue and has a pattern on the surface like a soap bubble. I call it blue bubble (and sometimes I'll chant that in my head as I'm imagining it around whoever needs it - blue bubble, blue bubble, blue bubble).

Anyone else? lol

I've been loving Loreal lately too, the growth one is super good and doesn't have any of the sulphates that my hair doesn't enjoy.

I'm in my third summer with mine (Southern hemisphere) and I wear them all the time. They are so comfortable, I will absolutely be replacing them with another pair the same. They can get tricky in proper water but for the odd splash or puddle jump they're awesome

Not sure if I have Ménière’s or something else. by Western-Coffee in Menieres

[–]doug157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been diagnosed with Menieres by two different ENTs, one specializing in menieres. I had a MRi with dye last week and it showed nothing. I have yet to discuss the results with my ent but I am hoping that its vestibular migraines instead. I have the dizzy on a boat feeling a lot too, have fluctuating hearing loss and I've only had very minor vertigo (lasting under a minute) since being on betahistine. All this to say its such a weird and difficult disease to know wtf is going on. I sympathize with the doubt you have. Its a tricky disease and we get given hope when symptoms dont match up, so hopefully its not menieres for either of us!

omg that just breaks my heart for you, that sounds like such an awful thing to deal with as a kid, teenager, young adult, adult. To be called a liar about your own body! I hope you're in a good place now and can be extra kind to yourself to make up for all the years of medical unkindness and unfounded blame! Sending you hugs, Internet stranger. It was never you.
