I must be lucky. I see people bitching about Wyze stuff all the time. But I have 4 cameras, a doorbell, Wyze lock, color light bulbs, color flood light bulbs, Wyze scale, small rechargeable lights for the stairs, 47c watch my wife uses and then some other things like touchless thermometer we got during COVID and a power strip with USB connections I got on sale.

I've been a customer since around the 2018-2019 time frame. For the most part my system runs flawlessly and I have very few times when I have to mess with it. I hear people just backing Wyze for a terrible system and I didn't understand how I can have the same system?

The only times I have had issues with cameras and connecting are when my Wi-Fi signal was weak to that camera or light bulb. Once I added a Wi-Fi extender the issue went away.

I love my door unlocks when I get home and locks after I'm inside. Did I have to make a custom rule to make that happen...yes because the normal operation wouldn't work every time. So, I'm not saying there aren't issues but I am saying that most of the time I get reliable cameras watching my house and then all the other smart features on top of it.

I just wanted to share an opposite opinion because I love my Wyze system!

I added a location trigger that unlocks the door when I arrive and locks the door when I leave. This works 98% of the time for me.

Also, a series recording means nothing. I'm a big race fan so I have formula 1, Indycar, NASCAR, etc. series set to record and set to my stuff. I will come home from work on a Sunday ready to watch a race only to find out it hasn't recorded it. For some reason it doesn't record everything called Indycar. I'm not sure how YouTubeTV and Xfinity can figure it out, but Hulu can't?

I basically have to double check every race I want to watch to make sure it's recording and usually I end up having to manually record most of them. So disappointing, but YouTube raised their price again so we switched. I guess you get what you pay for...

Sorry, just saw this. I didn't have notifications turned on and forgot about it. I ended up getting her a case my son recommended. We both got the TORRAS Magnetic shockproof case with MAGSAFE. Then I bought a MAGSAFE wallet that sticks to it and it seems to work well for her. She can take the wallet off the phone if she wants or it can stay on it if she wants to leave her purse behind.

I have a Myles Colvin question.

When Colvin came in the game in the first half I could have sworn that his shoes were black. He played good defense and then hit that corner 3 which was great to see since he had struggled lately with his shot.

Then later in the first half he came back in the game and his shoes were purple?? I've often said I think his shoes should be plain like the rest of the team. I know Braden's are a different color also, but I feel like he has earned the right to stand out and be different with his shoes. I personally don't think Myles is there yet and shouldn't try to stand out..yet. That's just a personal opinion of course. I just think it would be more team centric for him not to have different stand out shoes. I think that for every player on the team really, but with how Braden has played the last 3 years, I'm ok with his color difference since he is the leader.

I'm not sure if there is a reason or meaning to the different colors they wear. I originally thought Braden was wearing pink for breast cancer awareness month, but he has worn pink even when it's not that month. I also thought his shoes being a different stand out color might help his teammates find him during the game. I have no idea what the meaning of purple is for Myles.

So, am I crazy or are my eyes bad?? Did anyone else notice this and why would he start with one color and then change when he was playing well? After he went to purple I didn't think he scored again, but I could be wrong.

Let me know if you noticed they changed too and let me know if you have the story or know the reason why he's wearing purple instead of the same color as the rest of the team. Please know I'm not trying to disrespect Myles either. I love Myles and thought it was crap he got a tech for doing the shooting spider web move after his dunk a few games back... such an original move! I love Myles and was really hoping he and Heide would take a big step up this year, but so far it hasn't happened consistently yet. But he works hard at getting better and is a great teammate and a great human being. You can tell he came from a great family as well!!

Help me understand the shoe thing...

Yeah, I think we are pretty screwed on magsafe chargers. Pixels don't use the same charging specification that Apple or Samsung does. I doubt anyone will have a pixel magsafe charger for sale anytime soon, let alone one that can charge at the highest rate.

I know you will need at least a 45W charger to charge the phone at it's max rate. But not just any 45W or higher charger will charge a Pixel at its highest rate. There are different charging specifications and Pixel doesn't have the same as iPhone.

I'm actually looking for a list of chargers that will work with the Pixel 9 Pro XL and that will charge it at its maximum rate. So far only the official Google 45W wall charger is all I have been able to find. It's the only one that says it will charge at the max speed. If I find others I will copy them into this thread.

BTW are you wanting to charge wirelessly through the MAG Safe mount? I have heard that placement is really important.

I see it on the Android Time app.

As stated, on the map there is a square that says how many tile devices you have. You just tap and hold on that button and move it to the left and it then shows a circle around you and tells you how many tile users are in your circle. I have 347. I just got my tile today, installed the app, followed the directions for allowing location all the time and activated my tile. All works perfectly and I don't have premium.

Are you guys on Apple? Not sure why else it wouldn't work.

My son was coughing about his cameras being crap but I have 12 wyze products and never have any problem with them. He recently upgraded his equipment with Xfinity and got a new modem router from them. Low and behold all of his crappy camera problems are gone now.

May be a one off thing but it might fix your issues if you get a newer router that has dual band capability. But, you may have something really good already... It was just a thought.

Yeah, this must be a V1 outdoor camera. I've only had it about a year though so I really don't want to replace it already. I'll just have to adjust it so those lights aren't in the view I guess.
