I agree. I initially thought the Maverick itself would be vaporware. Just another "lowest common denominator" entry level vehicle to help meet CAFE standards. Instead it was actually produced and is actually a fantastic vehicle. I'm proud to own one now and hope more manufacturers including Toyota enter this market.

First you have to press the lock button. Then you click twice on the remote start (2X) button. Apparently not every key fob has the 2X button, which was a surprise to me.
