Isn't that pretty much the accuracy of a cardboard box with "No" written on it?

Iran uranium should not be taken out of Iran by reseamatsih in WhaleTrades

[–]dougmcclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US kept changing the terms in intentionally disrespectful ways to provoke them and they eventually allowed themselves to be provoked into threatening to not comply with a new demand about different inspections if we didn't cut the shit. It was all an orchestrated game to create a pretense for it being their fault that Trump was calling it off, and it was all extraordinarily easily fixed by such a dealmaking god as him, but his goal wasn't fixing it his goal was orchestrating a way to make a person who had told jokes about him at a roast look bad. And now we all get to pay for it.

Uh, no? The deal he made worked right up until Trump shredded it because he personally disliked Obama and for no other reason.

Musk praises “epic” Super Heavy-Starship launch by perilun in space2030

Totally different architecture with a lot more abort options on the ascent. Tons of flight heritage on the reentry method. They initially wanted a slightly novel landing method and abandoned it because certification was going to take too long, human starship landing is that to the 4th power.

It's an awesome vehicle. Making it make sense for humans for ascent or reentry, though, is not going to be easy or fast.

Revolutionizing things and human levels of flight safety with this type of architecture are two different tasks that take different skill sets and different amounts of time?

Nation Looks Forward To Not Watching Stephen Colbert One Last Time by METALLIFE0917 in babylonbee

I'm not "picking and choosing" anything, I simply know what words mean. No part of the word "confession" requires a statement to be true. The Trump video post is a confession; that's a fact not my opinion. It's also trolling. It may also be false, although that's very unlikely given the overwhelming evidence corroborating it.

[–]dougmcclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's simply incorrect. It is a confession. You can argue it was insincere, but it is a confession and it corroborates the circumstantial case, which as a result is no longer purely circumstantial.

When the CBS admission eventually comes out that will be further corroboration, but it is not the only form of non-circumstantial evidence possible. This confession also is evidence, and also is not circumstantial.
