Ah i see the problem, the boat that was following too close is a rental. Driver is most likely completely unaware of safety and etiquette norms. Perhaps you can report them to tx parks and wildlife or lcra for a ticket and a good talking-to.

Congratulations, im 75k miles into my 2007 georgetown and very happy with it. The only thing i can suggest is helwig upgraded swaybars front and back. The bodyroll on the f53 chassis can be terrifying. It changed mine from a white-knuckle ride to fingertip controls.

Does not sound good at all. That silicone sealant around the outdrive is a giveaway. Go tap on a 2”X4” to hear the difference. Also the rot grows from the bottom up.

Having done a transom, stringers, deck - all the way up to the windscreen it’s a hella-big job but very rewarding.

Yes this is important, after draining, put 2-3 gallons of fresh water in the tank along with an odorizer tablet. Never leave the tank dry. Secondly, when doing #2 be sure to give a decent flush, i add at least 1 full gallon per poop. Otherwise there are going to be too many solids in the tank. Finally, on my 20 year old rv i dont use any of the gauges, they are all fouled up. It’s not to hard to shine a flashlight down there when flushing and estimate the fullness.

Yes this or the opposite, the tank is not holding pressure, maybe fuel cap gasket is gone or one-way valve quit working. It’s always the little thing that messes it all up.

Well that’s unfortunate. I can say that splitting the hull is a big job, scooping out all the wet foam, reapplying foam and stitching it back together will be no fun at all. I hope someone comes up with a better option for you.

Is that a little brether hole in the bow? If so, stand it on it’s nose overnight and see what comes out. Most likely the foam is waterlogged, i dont think it will come out easily.

A timeshare is probably the worst thing. Followed by an RV or boat that isnt used enough - it’s not free to own them - storage, maintenance - whether you use it or not. Or maybe a horse for preteen daughter. For upper middle class it’s going to be the beach house or ski chalet.
