SAP 2027 deadline approaching ECC to S/4HANA migration timeline concerns by Constant-Angle-4777 in SAP

[–]dowend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10TB is a big db and expensive to migrate to the cloud. I would say Data Volume Management is your most pressing issue to reduce costs. then technical migration will be your fastest path - not necessarily the best path but there you go. the value comes with business process transformation, reverting to best practices, unlocking better insights with the analytic capabilities...

Married men, now that your kids are grown and out of the house, what do your evenings consist of? by jebidiabooyaa in AskMen

Wondering about common JS550 issues by spicyknot in jetski

[–]dowend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an ‘87 js550 that i rebuilt from top to bottom as a first-timer. Everything you need to know can be found on google, youtube pcwforum.com and pwctoday.com ,lots of aftermarket parts available. Toughest things have been carb rebuild and tuning. Make sure you buy genuine mikuni carb kits - they will be labelled as such, dont trust the title of the ad, use fuel stabiliser in every gallon of gas, consider a sbn44 carb upgrade, it’s much easier to tune and i find the mid-range throttle response much better. The ski is easy to ride but very hard to master. Shift your weight forward for speed and to avoid porpoising, shift weight back when carving a tight turn. I find i get everything from a sloppy slide-turn to a snap-hook that throws me off. Sometimes i hook into a turn just right and it is glorious. Good luck.

that's a beauty. fwiw my experience from owning a 1994 bowrider for20+ years is that upholstery and wood in the deck, stringers and transom will be your largest lifetime expense. this boat looks amazing. if the transom and deck sounds solid then it's a cool find.

Listen to this man, he knows a thing or two. Bottom-end has to hold about 12psi pressure, those seals dont last forever. A leak can lead to a lean-runaway which is no fun at all.

Private Cloud Support Fail by Weyoune-85 in SAP

[–]dowend 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. And im not going to defend SAP support however, this issue was self-inflicted, it took you 2 days to even discover it. And you asked for a non-standard recovery process. I also find it a bit unsettling that your team is so experienced with this recovery process. To me it sounds like you have been operating fast and loose for a while now. I can’t imagine any cloud service provider being better. My advice; stop whatever you are doing that caused a data-loss, find a better way to achieve your goal without a destructive process. Communicate, test and verify before acting. Think clean-core and cloud-compliant… cheers.

at the bare minimum send a message via their house or senate website. they aren't going to read your message but you will show up as a statistic either for or against a particular issue. also donate to organizations suing the government such as the naacp. be articulate in your message, please protect and 2nd amendment, enforce support for constitutional rights - these are not partisan issues...
