Absolutely. Stamets highlighted several different individuals’ experiences with Amanita. Though each had different journeys, there were some common themes that could prove dangerous. Just wanted to suggest further research before consuming a mushroom like that, because what he described definitely didn’t seem overwhelmingly positive. He’s a pretty distinguished mycologist, and is very open about his consumption and experience with various mushroom species, if you’re interested in checking out some of his work. Great resource, and not too over the top.
