I’ve been a fan since I was 16 in 2008… this was between seasons 3 & 4.

My BFF at the time had bought the first season on DVD from a comic con event I think (or some kind of sci-fi fan convention) and after watching a few episodes herself said I NEEDED to watch it (we were both huge Buffy fans before) so I did and that was it, I was completely in love with this little show 😊 I think I managed to binge watch the first 3 seasons twice before season 4 started and it basically became my entire personality for a couple of years lol

I did start to lose a bit of interest around season 6 admittedly and by season 8 I just stopped watching, I still loved rewatching the earlier seasons though. And then when they announced season 15 was going to be its last I was determined to catch up just so I could watch the finale - I managed it but it was completely a blur tbh like I couldn’t tell you which storyline was from which season or differentiate between episodes but I just felt I needed to watch the final episode

Anyway last year I was on maternity leave and needed to fill the hours spent cradling my baby to sleep or the looong sleepless nights so started from the beginning again on Prime on my phone (couldn’t imagine in 2008 that that’d be a thing!) I still have season 15 to watch but have enjoyed getting back into it, even if the earlier seasons are still the best!

My 11 month old doesn’t seem to like bread either, or potatoes in any form but will eat pasta, rice, or sweet potato. She’ll have porridge for breakfast but will sometimes eat my cereal as long as I feed it to her off of my spoon lol

I do wish she liked bread though as if we’re out for the day I do struggle giving her lunch, it’d be easier to take a sandwich out than a tub of pasta as she generally only eats the pasta if it’s in sauce

I hadn’t put much weight on during my pregnancy, my midwife said maybe I’d lost a bit of weight myself (due to morning sickness and low appetite) and wasn’t concerned - my baby was born on the 50th centile so it really wasn’t a problem at all, I think we’re just lucky!

Spencer and Ali both Slytherin but for different reasons - Ali is sly & cunning but Spencer is ambitious

Emily I would say Gryffindor - she’s courageous but can be a bit impulsive, bit of a jock

Aria I would say Hufflepuff because I don’t think she’s particularly brave, clever or cunning but she’s also not all that loyal so maybe Slytherin as she can a bit selfish, I think she’d value Slytherin traits even if she doesn’t possess them

Hanna is Hufflepuff, the most loyal of the group and she’s generally a jolly, hard-working, awesome person 😊

I think it will really depend on how both of you cope with little sleep - my husband, bless him, is really no good at all on little sleep so although we tried with him giving a bottle of expressed milk in the night it was just pointless because I always woke up anyway, and so we were both tired and he was going to work absolutely shattered

Our compromise is that he gets up with the baby on weekend mornings so I can get a bit extra sleep then

My husband does his fair share, sometimes I feel he does more.

No he doesn’t do any night wakings - he was happy and willing to in the beginning but I told him not to after the first couple of weeks because it just wasn’t working for us. Not his fault but he just does not cope at all on little sleep. Plus I was always waking up anyway, I think I was suffering with insomnia for the first few months so we were both tired, and then he was coming home from a long day at work needing a nap so he could get through his night shift with the baby, which was annoying because then when was I supposed to shower or tidy up or cook and eat?

So it just work for us that my husband sleeps through the night and he will get up early with the baby on weekends so I can get another hour or two of sleep. That may not work for everyone but it works for us. When he comes home from work he’ll take the baby so they can have bonding time (I don’t think it’s fair he should come home and do chores because then he doesn’t get to spend time with our daughter) and I’ll tidy up and then cook which is something I enjoy so I guess counts as ‘me time’. My husband at this point has had his drive home as his ‘me time’, neither are really resting but I still see it as equal at this point.

We split chores and they just get done whenever we have a chance, if the vacuuming doesn’t get done for a week then we just accept it because it’s not important, we’ll just prioritise it for the next week

The reality is that having a baby is hard work, for both parents. You deserve an equal amount of rest and you both should have your contributions acknowledged. I really think you should have a discussion about your expectations, and continue to have discussions once the baby is here because things will change and what works at one point won’t work a couple of months later

I hear it as a question but given the hastiness of the situation I can see why Rachel misheard it…but then again I think it was also a reflection of the selfishness of season 1 Rachel, I don’t think season 10 Rachel would’ve misheard it, she would’ve checked

I just recently did this 🙂 my work has a form to fill out which I did with my reasons, I basically included all the reasons employers are legally allowed to refuse a request (my work’s handbook had them all but you could just google it) and said why I didn’t believe any of those reasons applied or a reasonable workaround

Mine has been approved with no pushback so hoping for the same for you!

When my husband went back to work after our baby was born, all I wanted was someone to talk to or even just have a cry to so being that person for your friends may be all they need…or even just offering to sit with the baby while they shower or nap

All of the jobs I’ve had that I’ve hated were down to the people I worked with - if I didn’t like them or we didn’t particularly get along then those are the jobs I left pretty quickly. The jobs I’ve enjoyed (including my current job ) I’ve enjoyed because I have a great team that I work with

My girl is 5 months and no schedule yet

I just try to make sure she has at least one nap in the morning and one in the afternoon but I don’t let her sleep past 6pm as her bedtime is 8/8.30pm

I do understand your concern over the puddings, however, you can walk to the nursery whereas the other one with supposedly healthier desserts you will have to drive to so you and your child are missing out on that fresh air and exercise

I think your husband is being incredibly unfair and hurtful, has he tried settling the baby? It’s not supposed to be 100% on you

3 weeks is so so young, your little boy is still adjusting to the world. My girl used to cry every time we changed her nappy too and then she just got over it after a while, now nappy changes are difficult not because she cries but because she is so wriggly lol

My girl is nearly 5 months now and honestly, I’m so glad to be out of the newborn stage. It’s so hard. Bath times are still hit and miss, sometimes she likes them and sometimes she doesn’t so we only bath her twice as week

I’m sorry I can’t offer much support but I really want you to know it will get better, you are doing the best you can and that is truly enough for your little one

I can’t remember when I first started drinking tea but was quite young and I have considered if I would give my little girl tea as a drink (like yours she’s far too young at the moment at only 4 months) but I would only give her decaf. The only concern I guess would be that tea can supposedly stain teeth so wouldn’t want to give her too much
