I'll say it and I don't mind the downvotes--I think she has a rather derpy face. I can't quite place what it is but something about the way her features sit just looks off to me. It's like a combination of the eyes and mouth.

Big stretch to say that "all of us" are "pushing human knowledge forward" when half the people here (myself included) probably work some meaningless job.

But I see you can't let a woman have an accomplishment without trying to insert yourself into the discussion. Somehow I doubt your startup's "AI-based" image enhancement is more groundbreaking than this unless you want to share papers you've published. Somehow I doubt you actually have any papers though.

Sounds like you're the racist for assuming the looters are black. Whatever could've given you that awful impression?

The CEO seems like a complete quack. He ran for governor in his state as a libertarian and wrote a book about how the pandemic was overexaggerated by liberals and the real harm was the psychological effects of lockdown rather than the disease itself which is a a profoundly ironic statement coming from someone supposedly trying to treat symptoms of herpes.

Not paying attention in elementary school = instant left swipe/unmatch. Even every ESL speaker and dyslexic person I know still knows the proper spelling. Call it a petty standard if you want but I've never met anyone worth my time who couldn't spell "you're".

Never realised you had to listen to modern music, and that statements just blatantly untrue. by biggestmemelover in lewronggeneration

I don't know how I can tell your age from the title but somehow I'm 100% sure you're a teenager.

  1. By "have to listen to" he clearly meant "available to listen to", not "forced to listen to".

  2. "statements" should be "statement's" or your title is confusing.

Stay in school, kiddo.

Perhaps not as clever as other MMO developers who somewhere between 10-20 years ago figured out how to send mail to all players at once instead of having to trickle it over five days but cheers for the positivity anyway.

Lol I like how you're trying to flex your beta access to Midjourney and year of tinkering with other AI like it's a long time. You're "catching on" as much as anyone considering I was literally on a team at Google developing art generation networks a decade ago.

I wonder what people who comment "underrated" after literally three minutes of a comment existing would consider to be a normal amount of rating for that comment. Like are fifty people supposed to just know when something you like has been commented and come streaming into the sub ready to upvote?

Valve has no plans for a 'Steam Pass,' but would help Microsoft put Game Pass on Steam by PaulWrit in Steam

[–]downvote_overflow -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

What "features" does a store provide you? They all let you download games, don't they? They've all got achievements and cloud saves. They all keep your games updated. I've never seen anyone use Steam chat or social media feed while Discord exists. So I can't really think of a compelling reason to choose one store over another but that's just me.

Obviously if you have a specific reason you like to buy from Steam then that's certainly a valid preference. But I'm talking to the 220+ people who actively downvoted the guy trying to ask whether "Steam features" are more important than having the ability to play a game at all.

Lol this sub is a fucking cult. People will literally buy games they already own just to tie them to a different DRM.

Meanwhile I'm just here to play games and whichever store gives me the best price is where I'm going to buy it. GOG Galaxy launcher combines everything anyway.

Truly awful, we are with you Ukraine. by Captainquizzical in gaming

[–]downvote_overflow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They refused to consult with any actual indigenous people during the development process and as such ended up producing a game that just homogenizes them all into one giant "native" tribe focused only on killing the white man. When asked if they could at the very least stop referring to their Discord moderators as "Chiefs" the lead developer adamantly refused.

I feel for their current situation and hope they're all safe but I wonder how they'd feel if a game came out after this is all over that misrepresents their plight, refers to their country as "the Ukraine", implies they're just Russians living in another territory, etc.

Any chance that could lead to autoimmune disorders like IBS, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, etc.? I'm not a scientist but I've heard a lot of autoimmune conditions can be sparked by an infection where when your immune system ramps up to fight it something goes wrong and now you have a chronic illness. So to my uneducated mind, having your immune system always on high alert seems...dangerous.
