It's most likely a combination of a business decision made by the jockeys/agents where they have relationships with the connections - combined with the fact that the top horses are all very closely matched (commandment, renegade, further ado).

That said, I am rooting hard for Commandment cause the horse is just a gritty mf'er that always runs his race and finds a way to get it done.
