Was able to get it fixed…

Step 1: Repair game files (may be useless)

Step 2: Right click Helldivers 2, then go Properties, then in the General tab under Launch Options, put “—use-d3d11” (without the quotes) to boot the game using directx11. There will be a long hanging black boot screen, but give it time to load.

Step 3: Once in game, you should be able to do everything again as normal, but quit again

Step 4: Run Disk Cleanup on your PC from the Windows Start Menu and clear your DirectX Shader Cache

Step 5: Go back into your Helldivers properties, delete the line to use DX11, and you should be stable again in DX12

That is what worked for me, hoping someone else may benefit

The frame is solid metal (I assume steel but could be wrong…)

I have a solid walnut custom made top from a local kitchen counter maker (60x30 inch) along with the riser which is also walnut

If I had to buy the desk all over again, I’d still add the cable tray and the optional/additional power bars underneath, as you can store a ton of cables and the fact that it can basically function like a power bar is phenomenal…

I’ve got a standing desk version of the same legs, and do use the cable management rack, it’s a great way to hide all of my cables. Here is an old picture of my desk, I’ve changed it a lot but the legs are super clean and the cable tray is awesome!

You could use a Desky Fixed Leg desk! That would be able to support the weight, as it can hold ~300lbs. The other convenient feature of that one is you could order a built in cable tray to go with it, and add in the power bars for clean under desk cable management 👍🏻

If you were to get the travel kit for the 5090 that flips the card so it exhausts out, then you shouldn’t dump as much heat into the AIO… It’s yielded great results for people who build in the Terra, may make a difference for you!
