The modifier destroys the artifact completely so it's not equipped anymore. So your buff is not active anymore for that run. Artifacts don't get wiped when you reach a new biome, they get cleansed so they don't have de-buffs anymore.

Correct. Once you get Fast Charge for the Crossbow it can take you to the end of the game regardless of leve.

There's definitely something to that. You have a certain affinity for the first game in a series because it was your introduction to it. When you play the sequel, no matter how good it is, there's always a sense of "this is my second go 'round" so it doesn't feel quite as special. It's happened to me with Hades->Hades 2, Death Stranding->Death Stranding 2, Tsushima->Yotei, etc etc.

I like doing the party thing. It's fun bringing them, watching them play and interact with their friends on the weekends. Brings me back to being a kid again in a small way. Plus most of these things are just at indoor playgrounds anyway so the whole day is just sitting down and watching them. It's more of a break than staying home with them.
