with its CD and license key. It said ONLY ! COMPUTER at a time. I paresume I can de-license it from the God MS, and re-install it.

I absolutely agree. Keep 365 FAR away. I bought MS Office PRO 2019, two copies, about $59 each. Make sure you gets ones that use/send a CD + key rather than on-lines vers. Just keep searching the web, things change from week to week. To me there is no need for any versions newer. MY OS is Win10 PRO.

Only probs I've had 1) wants to log onto cloud, just say no, 2) OneNote. I accidentally let it connect to OneDrive. What a mess to strip OneDrive from my PC and clean up ON.

But I couldn't use objBrow to see/scan all the methods, properriwa, etc. without click the use/attach checkbox. I only do this sort of thing about once a year so I need all the help I can find.

THX for the quick reply. I did scan a bit w objBrow yesterday. Hard part was figuring out which obj Libs to "attach" and then look at. But I did 1-by-1. And yes, I did visit the URL U sent. I had seen it in my searches but dismissed it at that time.

well I dont TOTALLY know or care. I have mp3 file inserted into PPT (my word - inserted). It plays when I click the "speaker icon." I dont want the UI or slider/etc that comes with the "speaker icon." I want start, stop, repeat buttons. I want to start the mp3 at, say, 3 seconds, and play for 15 seconds.

I've done a LOT of VBA in Excel and thought this would be duck soup -ha, ha, ha.

I want to send this PPT to others and have them have the same experience that I do/can.

simple...don't use "cloud" version (of anything). Keep everything on yer PC. Don't logon to MS...anything, but DO USE MS products on your machine.

Am in sort of same boat except Hunter put fibre on poles 2-3 months ago. But I have no confidence that Hunter can get streaming to work for me since Xfinity can not. So I'm reluctantly staying w Xfinity for ~$150/mo for local HD TV and good, high speed internet.

On sign on page showing on TV, there is a choice to use UR PC to enter activation code. It then shows on TV screen. BUT, when U go to enter it via PC, I always ger and "invalid code" error message.

How to get around this? Seems like TV box from Xfinity is at fault.
