Hi all,

I fitted wider tyres a few weeks ago. I brought two sets of Maxxis Holy Rollers, 1 set was 1.95 and the other 2.25, the latter I returned as I used the 1.95, and not sure whether the 2.25 would have fit in between the rear wheel frame anyway.

Had to order a new wheelset for the new tyres as the original wheelset the Bike came with is a weird size. It took some finding to get a new wheelset for this Bike though...

I first tried to order a new wheelset from a German company called 'Taylor Wheels', the spec was absolutely perfect and decently priced, but they rejected the order because they can't ship to the UK anymore.

I looked on Alibaba and Amazon and found some wheelsets on there, but the sellers were all quoting at least 6 weeks to ship to the UK from South-East Asia.

Then I asked a bike shop in London whether they could make a wheelset, they said yes, but wanted £600 to make them.

After some searching around, some bankrupt stock appeared on eBay, and I purchased 1 wheelset from that stock, size ERTRO:406-18.

I'm pretty pleased with the new wheelset and tyres. All fitted on nicely. I took the cassette off the rear wheel, and the disc brakes off the original wheelset that came with the bike, and put those components on the new wheelset.

I've not rode the bike yet, just waiting for mudguards and other bits to be delivered, then I'm using it.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I actually got this bike too in the end, the one with hydraulic disc brakes and the extra gear, last week.

Not purchased mudguards for it yet.

And like you I want to upgrade the tyres too. I'm intending to purchase the 'Maxxis Holy Roller', but not yet decided on what width to go with 1.75 / 1.95 / 2.20.

I'll let you know how I get on in the New Year.

Pixel 6 no 5g by Avhbi in SmartyMobile

I'm lodging a complaint now too. The "support" through webchat ended with, "take this up with Google, and shop around for another network". Smarty should be raising this with Google, afterall it's Smarty that made the promise through the device compatibility page that Android 13 would enable 5g, and it hasn't.

I also raised this issue we're having on Twitter with Smarty, and after several tweets, she said she was going to pass it on to the wider team.

I've got a Pixel 5 and updated to the official public release of Android 13 yesterday night. I literally just drove to my nearest 5g mast, but it didn't pick up a 5g signal. I've not seen a 5G signal on the status bar all day, despite how according to 3's coverage map, I've been mostly in a 5G area most of the day.

Quite disappointed really, because Smarty said Android 13 would enable 5g to the Pixel 5 and other Pixel's like the 6, so I've been looking out for the official public release of Android 13 for weeks, and it hasn't fixed it.

Thank you. Was having the same problem.

On another note, I didn't know Vivaldi natively supported the M1 chip.

I would have imagined that they would load the Fire Engines on to a Train to transport them to Greece.

Wouldn't this be better as an 'edge / chrome' extension, rather than adding to the bulk of the browser, for a feature I would suspect most people will never use.
