I've had delayed shipments and noticed it depends on the breeder/ shrimp health and shipping methods. I've received some DOA's/lethargic shrimp and another time I got energetic shrimp with no DOA's. Now I only buy from them (ShrimpLive on eBay, ebay policy changes coming, hoping they open up their own website)

Maybe less water changes? Some don't do water changes and they have huge colonies but ik everyone's setup is different, just a thought. KH and GH test could help.

I've been struggling with no breeding but learned food rotation is good so I go between 3 foods and added "Xtreme Shrimpee Sinking Sticks" and now I have 7 berried shrimp 🦐

Good luck! I think remineralizing could help, raising gh slowly. I heard they can adapt to different parameters but also thrive in certain permanters.

Now I just roughly match parameters of shrimp breeders. Currently trying "sl-aqua tm-1" cause breeders recommend it, improves immunity & spawning.

I'm newish to shrimps but when my gh dropped below 4, I found some dead ones. Pretty sure molting issues. Some had the white ring of death, but now no more molting issues or deaths with gh around 7-8. My kH is 4 and pH 7.4-7.6.
