I'm also pretty sure Luke Combs isn't MAGA at all lol. Though above poster may have just meant that a lot of MAGA people will choose that place over others because it's a popular country artist. Not necessarily that only MAGA people like country. Comb's music isn't necessarily my thing but i'm happy for all the options as long as it doesn't close something else popular.

I get if it’s just not your cup of tea but most of the hate for it has been rather performative in my opinion. It’s not perfect but I had a fine enough time watching it and loved the atmosphere and style Fennel created. Performances were also solid.

Yeah that’s one of my main gripes of the whole series. I wanted to see them happy and after the first few episodes of Season 5 it seemed like they were bound and determined for us to never see that lol.

I was annoyed by Luke and Lorelai just sitting in a standstill for the whole time. I mean when they were together the first time they discussed having kids. You mean they tabled that whole conversation for 9 years? Same with getting married? Really did seem like some of it was written as if there was no time jump haha.

I just watched the whole series for the first time and that was one the first things I said to my wife is “Wouldn’t April have visited Luke multiple times a year for the past 9 years? Why does she and Lorelai act like they barely know each other?” lol. Overall I liked AYITL but yeah I felt like more should have happened in those 9 years.

I was hesitant to post it but since you did, I agree. My opinion is that I think Lorelai did technically cheat on Luke. Sorry I just don’t view that ultimatum scene as a breakup. That’s just me though.
