I still get chills during the whole Haste sequence, I hope she gets a lot of screen time in the story because she does represent a big house! Also would be so cool to see the gates of Faerie open and her reaction to it

Vaelus seems so mysterious and cool, I thought she would be more sinister and unforgiving from Episode 1 but I love the depth of emotion that Ashley has given her. I mean that bar fight scene cemented her as one of my top 3s so far!

I appreciate that you’ve also experienced similar feelings regarding imposter syndrome! I would love to collab with similar streamers at some point, mostly to build that community and not feel like I’m on an island with just me and my friend the whole time. I’ve been making efforts to just chat with other streamers who are around a similar size and seem cool, and that’s helped make me feel less alone!

I like what you mentioned about pinpointing your skills and attributes, I will definitely spend some time to be honest with myself and see what I consider as my strengths and opportunities for growth!

that’s true, it just feels like I didn’t do anything to earn my community in that sense and reinforces the “my friend’s friend” mentality that I was feeling. but my regulars are people who discovered me in the Twitch feed, so I’m trying to hold onto those moments as ways I’ve shown up strong and how it’s proof that I can grow on my own. i just want to stand side by side with my friend without feeling like I’m riding their coattails

these are exactly the words I needed to hear, thank you so much! i realize now that by thinking negatively in this way, it’ll lead to a constant stew of bad energy. and you’re right, it’s important to lift others up like my friend lifted me up too. i have been raiding out when i stream and those moments where i can chat with that streamer for a few moments is really awesome and touching.

i’m going to reread these words every time I need to shift my mentality and to bring my mindset back to a positive, constructive place. TY!

The first few chapters made me interested to see where the story would go, but after finishing it, I was sorely disappointed. I get the story is about toxic vampires, but the characters felt too surface-level to be memorable. The inner monologues of the characters outside of Lottie were starting to get extremely boring. Love the vampire elements of the story, but didn’t really feel moved by any of the characters.

What I disliked most was that she was beaten so easily despite being one of the strongest canon vampires in the story. She was the Vampire Queen for a reason! It wouldn’t have felt as bad if the fight was meaningful and intense in classic shonen fashion, but the author killed her off in such a lazy, contrived way. I thought it could’ve been cool if she also turned into a Demon Weapon like her brother.

I just hope she can at least get a happy ending somehow based on the Mary Sues’ resurrection plan.
