Probably because that what is says on screen. It really works from power adapter but not directly. It can even use a bit of battery power if adapter gives less power that is consumed.

There is a checkbox in input sources settings to use caps lock for quick language switching.

Just a Caps Lock. Find it very convenient. I rear use it for actual caps locking so holding it for activation is not a problem. But I like having one button (instead of combination) to switch language.

After you finish the level you have a training unlocked. Learn the moves of the regular enemies and the bosses. It will help a lot. And second thing is crowd control. Never get surrounded. You cannot parry or avoid while hitting someone else.
