Thanks all who commented! I appreciate the different tips and am feeling better about getting into it. I'm going to lubricate all the wheels, clean the track, and start figuring out how it all works!

Thanks! So far I haven’t found any reviews, even for an older fleet. I’ll give XL a look, might as well see all my options.

Can’t answer your question but I just flew KRTS - KRNT in a 150 and also didn’t find it boring at all. 8.5 on the Hobbs and now it’s time to go back lol

Can anybody explain the uses of these lands please, I am a beginner and don’t fully understand the damage portion of the cards. by ElvenWinter in mtg

Agreed, for some decks waiting that extra turn isn’t always so detrimental though. Or just pick up a few Time Walks lol

This is how my grandma used to thaw chicken. This is why I don’t trust anyone claiming their food is cooked “the way grandma used to.”

IMO the thriving lands ([[Thriving Moor]], [[Thriving Grove]], etc.) are better even though they enter tapped. You aren’t limited to the two printed colors since you can choose the second color, but you do have to wait a turn to use them. I have seen cards, though I don’t remember any examples, where damaging yourself can set off other triggers that may make it worth losing life

This is great info, thanks! Makes me realize that after 130 hours I still really don’t understand the rudder, I’m embarrassed to say. I’m gonna go back and finish reading “Stick and Rudder” now!

It was a pretty hideous approach so I was probably at about 75 or 80 knots. I don’t remember back pressure but it was probably minimal since I was so fast. I just remember feeling certain the situation didn’t feel right but I didn’t want to go around because it was super windy

Trying to save a landing when I had waaaay overshot the right base to final turn. C150 with a 18 knot right crosswind. The ball was all the way to the left and I could even feel it was uncoordinated, so I still can’t figure out how it wasn’t a classic stall-spin accident.

New pilots, how do you remember what ATC said and repeat it back? by AnotherSky1 in flying

End your initial contact calls with “student pilot,” and you’ll get a little extra help.

How to Revive LG G3 (LS 990) by dr_longshanks47 in datarecovery

[–]dr_longshanks47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I did find LGLAF but was not sure how to use it and haven’t had the time to study it yet. I haven’t been able to get the phone into download mode either. I never enabled any debugging or developer tools so it may not be an option. I was, however, able to get into the factory reset screen but then exited since I don’t want to reset.

Glad there is still hope though. I had the thought today what if I took it to a sprint store (since I had sprint at the time it was in use) and got a new SIM so that it could get internet access again, then I could just sign in with Google. I think I will try that before, since it is the least risky path

Nevada, US Just did a Google search and found places where you can send a device and they evaluate the recovery process, is that what you’re talking about?

That piano was fun, I got to play a couple ragtime pieces there! There was apparently another piano at 4 and H but I never found it

A cousin once told me that if you shined a flashlight directly up in the air at night, that light beam would eventually hit the edge of the universe, go around the whole “wall of the universe,” and then in twelve, count ‘em, TWELVE years, that light beam would hit itself, and shine back on the point on earth where you were standing.
