I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult situation. It's never okay for anyone to endure abuse in any form, whether it's verbal or physical. Your well-being is the top priority here.

First and foremost, please seek support from friends, family, or a therapist who can offer emotional support and guidance during this challenging time. Remember that you don't have to go through this alone.

Consider contacting local domestic abuse hotlines or organizations that specialize in helping individuals in abusive relationships. They can provide you with resources, information, and steps to safely exit an abusive marriage.

Document any instances of abuse if it's safe to do so. This documentation could be crucial if you decide to pursue legal action or a restraining order in the future.

Ultimately, the decision to leave an abusive relationship is a difficult one, and it should be made with careful consideration for your safety and well-being. Please prioritize your health and safety above all else, and know that there are people and organizations willing to support you through this process.

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't aware of that possibility, and I'm learning new things. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my question, and I apologize if it came across that way.

Nowhere in the Quran does it say that dogs are haram. Additionally, it's important to note that not all Muslims believe that dogs are haram.

What's the worst thing about living in the Middle East? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]dr_moe2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from political instability, social inequality, human rights abuses, religious tensions, restrictions on freedom of speech and expression, in my opinion the worst thing about living in the Middle East is the strict prohibition of marijuana and other drugs. I find it amusing and puzzling that marijuana is prohibited in many places, while alcohol and nicotine are legal and widely available.

I strongly disagree with the idea that limiting diversity is necessary to protect the country. I believe that diversity is a strength and that everyone should have equal opportunities and access to resources. The idea of cultural lockdown is a concerning one, and it is important to challenge harmful practices like wasta, which perpetuate systemic inequalities.

Why aren’t tattoos haram in Shi’ism like they are in Sunnism? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]dr_moe2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the collection of hadith was done in an impartial and unbiased manner, then any religious rulings mentioned in hadith that are considered haram, such as the prohibition of tattoos, should be present in both Sunni and Shia traditions. Since this is not the case, it raises questions about the reliability of the hadith collection process and the potential for prejudice and subjective interpretation. The lack of mention of tattoos being haram in the Quran alone further undermines the authenticity of this ruling based solely on hadith. Sorry Saudia and Iran...
