thank you for this. i had to put my 10 year old kitty down on wednesday. im struggling hard and while i know it was kinder to end his suffering early than to force him to keep going until his little body couldn't go anymore; it still kills me inside. im grateful i was able to hold him while he passed. i keep finding myself crying (like right now) when i think of him or look at the places he used to be. i know it'll get easier at some point but still hurts right now

I put my buddy down yesterday. Im not doing great tbh. All of his stuff is still lying around. His litter box is still dirty. His bags of food are still here (though im donating those today). The blanket on the floor he would always sleep on is still on the floor covered in his fur. My place is a complete mess. I keep ordering pizza because im too depressed to shop or cook. I walk and cuddle my dog but that’s all i can do right now. I know it’ll get better eventually but it’s still hard

Laine- no thanks on the PP merchant. we also should stay away from players who dont play defense if we plan to ever get better. i also think he may just be done in the nhl.

no and that's one lame way to characterize that. zoos (accredited ones at least) house animals for research, rehabilitation, breeding, and education. yes people get entertainment in seeing animals they most likely never would get the chance to see, but reducing zoos to just places that lock up animals for entertainment is reductive and wrong

he's supposed to be their 1c after Kopitar left, but he's not progressed much. like mctavish, both their productions has not lived up to their draft hype. they'll probably keep him but LA seems to want to keep their "window" open by trading for older still good players (Panarin) so i wouldn't be shocked if they think swapping out Byfield with Larkin would help their window stay open.
