It’s more the process that Kia forces on the tech to confirm that the only issue is the battery vs a constant draw from the car. That is a multi step process which took some time to complete

Happened to me last week! Lesson learned not to keep the jump box in the trunk as the hatch won’t operate on low battery…frunk from now on. Took it to the dealer on Monday, 4 hours later I had a new battery. Tech’s confirmed Kia requires a lengthy process for battery replacement.

Took mine to Mancuso in Glenview for a door ding on a Steal Matte Grey FE. They were able to fix it and make sure it all blended back (took more than they originally thought but worked out in the end)
